Search underway for missing 68-year-old man with dementia

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A search is underway for a missing 68-year-old man, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

Police are asking for the public’s help locating Roger Wallace.

Wallace, who suffers from dementia, is described as being 5’10″ tall and weighing 185 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes.

IMPD said he was last seen on Friday around 10 a.m. walking northbound from 1400 East County Line Road. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt and sweatpants with blue stripes down the legs.

Police said Wallace may be in need of medical attention.

Anyone with information on Wallace’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact the IMPD Missing Persons Unit at 317-327-6160.
