Some wear masks while others do not, the psychology behind the choice

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – While wearing a mask is highly recommended to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, some are choosing not to in public and even when it’s store policy. 

On Wednesday, Dr. Mary Gillis, D.Ed. was on Midday to discuss the psychology behind why a person may choose not to wear one.

Researchers say it’s related to freedom of choice and maintaining a public persona.
