TSA reminds flyers to be aware of prohibited items while traveling
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — TSA agents addressed the media on Friday afternoon to talk about prohibited items in airports.
The TSA took the time to remind passenger what is an isn’t allowed aboard an aircraft while traveling at the Indianapolis International Airport on Friday.
TSA Regional Spokesman Mark Howell said that more people are traveling by air and many of those people carry firearms, so they are seeing a rise in the amount of firearms that are brought to a TSA check point.
He also said they are trying to make people more aware that firearms can not be on a carry on and must be checked.
