Colts coach Reich ‘proud’ after big victory over Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WISH) – Frank Reich never wants a big victory to be about him. However, on Sunday evening in Buffalo, the Indianapolis Colts head coach couldn’t avoid the emotion of the team’s 41-15 blowout victory of the heavily favored Bills.

Reich opted to let his players address the media postgame and enjoy the spotlight of arguably the most impressive regular-season victory of the Reich era.

Once Reich stepped to the podium, the former Bills quarterback, who orchestrated the largest comeback in NFL history nearly 29 years ago, opened his postgame address with a faith-based message in an attempt to send strength to those who are struggling in their daily lives.

Following Reich’s postgame press conference, he joined News 8’s Charlie Clifford for an exclusive interview before departing back to Indianapolis.

“I was just so proud of the way we put it together in the biggest game of the year, really, for us,” Reich said.
