Woman charged with setting boyfriend’s bedroom on fire
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – A Vigo County woman is behind bars for allegedly setting her boyfriend’s apartment on fire.
Larina Coleman, 49, was charged with arson after police say she set her boyfriend’s bedroom on fire.
The incident happened on June 5 in Terre Haute. According to a police report witnesses say Coleman and her boyfriend had been arguing in his bedroom.
The boyfriend walked out into the family-room and witnesses said they heard Coleman shout “If I can’t have you, then I will just burn your stuff.”
Moments later witnesses told police they could smell smoke and called 911.
Coleman will be back in court on June 16.
