Cloudy and cool weekend
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We’ll see some sunshine to start Friday but clouds return and temperatures tumble for the weekend.
TODAY: Sunny start to the day. It’s going to be a little cooler with highs near 50. Skies become partly cloudy for the late afternoon and there’s a chance we may see a few spotty sprinkles.
TONIGHT: Temperatures fall into the 30s Friday night. There’s a chance we may see a few showers and even a few wet snowflakes in the northern part of the state.
SATURDAY: Clouds hang around for much of the weekend. There’s a chance we may see an isolated wintry mix at times during the day Saturday. It’s going to be much cooler with highs in the lower 40s.
SUNDAY: A storm system moves across the Great Lakes on Sunday. We’ll see mostly cloudy skies and a good chance for scattered showers and even some snow showers. It’s going to be chilly with highs in the lower 40s.
8DAY FORECAST: Sunshine returns on Monday and Tuesday. Temperatures slowly begin to warm back up. Highs climb into the middle 50s Tuesday. There’s a chance for a few showers on Wednesday but we dry back out for the end of the week. The lower 50s will continue for the end of the week.
