Indianapolis police locate missing 69-year-old man with dementia

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department reported shortly after 10 p.m. that Reynold Smith has been located and is safe.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police are seeking help to find a missing 69-year-old man.
Reynold Smith suffers from dementia and has a Silver Alert bracelet.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department detectives in the missing person unit said Reynold Smith was last seen at 2 p.m. Thursday in the 2300 block of North Sheridan Avenue. That’s northeast of North Arlington Avenue and East 21st Street on the city’s east side.
Smith was described as 5-feet-10 and 200 pounds. He is bald with a low beard.
Smith was last seen wearing a blue plaid shirt, black pants and black Velcro shoes.
