President Trump to visit Lima, Ohio, Army tank plant

LIMA, Ohio (WANE) – President Donald Trump will be touring the Lima Army Tank Plant on Wenesday afternoon.

Senior White House administration officials said Tuesday evening that the Trump will be begin his tour at the facility around 2:30 p.m. The plant specifically manufactures the M-1 Abrams tank. 

After the tour, the president was expected to give a speech to local leaders and workers at the plant. He will offer remarks about the facility’s accomplishments as well as what has been done nationally.

Lima is about 110 miles northeast of Indianapolis. 

It is unclear if he will speak on the recent shutdown of the General Motors plant in nearby Lordstown, Ohio. 

It is his 10th trip to Ohio since his inauguration.
