Indianapolis Walk to End Alzheimer’s set for Saturday
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis-area residents on Saturday will join the fight to end Alzheimer’s disease during the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
The funds raised will support the care, support and research programs of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Julie Moore, director of the Indianapolis Walk to End Alzheimer’s, spoke with News 8 on Thursday’s “All Indiana.”
News 8 meteorologist Tara Hastings also talked about her father who has Alzheimer’s and the importance of the annual walk to her family.
Other Alzheimer’s walks in central Indiana are set for Saturday in Kokomo, Sunday in Columbus, and Oct. 10 in Muncie. Bloomington’s walk was Sept. 13.
