INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Villages of Indiana is holding its annual “Diaper Day” donation event, but this time it’s all happening online.
One in three families report not having sufficient funds to have a supply of diapers to keep their child clean, dry and healthy, according to the Indiana Diaper Bank.
Diapers purchased for donation through Amazon will be delivered to The Villages’ office and distributed to client families across the state and then they will be delivered directly to The Villages’ Indianapolis office for distribution to foster families and participants of The Villages Healthy Families program.
Villages President and CEO, Sharon Pierce, talked with All Indiana‘s Randall Newsome about the need for people to donate. Watch the full interview in the video.
People from the organization also want people posting to social media about your donation or sharing its “Diaper Day” posts on Facebook or Twitter, using the hashtag #VillagesDiaperDay.
