Clinton County police dog gets new protective vest

CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) —  A Clinton County police dog is a little safer thanks to the donation of a protective vest.

The vest helps protect against gunshots and stabbings. Police dog Gunny will wear it on the job. 

The non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. gave the vest to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office. 

The vest costs $950 to donate one, and each vest has a value between $1,700 to $2,200.
