INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Each week in Community Link, Carolene Mays-Medley and Marco Dominguez take a look at an organization or business that is making a positive impact on the community.
The Office of Minority and Women Business Development for the city of Indianapolis works to ensure equal opportunities for business owners.
Camille Blunt, the director of the group, stopped by the Daybreak studios to talk more about the work the group does.
“We serve minorities, women, veteran and disabled-owned business enterprises,” said Blunt. “In that we help them with certification, with business initiatives and also help connect them to opportunities.”
Blunt said the group also spends a lot of time setting up outreach and networking events.
