ISDH: More than 500 new COVID-19 cases; 14 more deaths

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – On Wednesday, the Indiana State Department of Health announced 506 new COVID-19 cases and 14 additional deaths.

The new COVID-19 cases are from between Aug. 10 and Aug. 18 while the newly reported deaths are from between Aug. 14 and Aug. 18.

In total, there are 82,336 COVID-19 cases and 2,968 deaths related to the virus in Indiana.

According to the department, there have been 1,202,015 tests administered in the state.

According to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, there have been more than 22,169,000 confirmed cases worldwide, with more than 14,135,000 recoveries and more than 781,000 deaths.
