INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A 39-year-old man died from a Christmas Day stabbing at a motel on the city’s northeast side, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department and the Marion County Coroner’s Office.
Officers found Sherman Skipper had suffered some kind of trauma. The coroner’s office later determined he died from “multiple sharp force injuries.”
Around 6:45 a.m. Friday, officers were called to a report of a dead person at the Motor 8 Inn, 3731 Shadeland Ave.
By Monday afternoon, no suspect had been released. Anyone with information was asked to contact IMPD at 317-327-3475.
