Domestic incident ends in crash, 1 in hospital

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One person is in the hospital following a domestic incident early Thursday morning, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

Police said one person was hurt in a crash in the area of 10th Street and Emerson Avenue sometime before 5:30 a.m.

IMPD said the situation actually started as a domestic situation with a weapon. One of the people involved in the incident then fled from the police which resulted in the crash at 10th and Emerson.

Officers said the person injured was awake and breathing. It’s unclear if there were any other injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
