Fountain heavily damaged at Carmel roundabout

UPDATE: Police say the fountain was damaged in a single-vehicle crash around 9:30 p.m. Sunday night. No other information has been provided.

CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) — Police in Carmel are looking for information after significant damage was discovered at a fountain downtown.

The damage apparently happened overnight at the roundabout at Main Street at Fourth Avenue SW.

Several large chunks of concrete have been knocked off the fountain and to the ground.

Tire tracks could also be seen running through that fountain.

News 8 talked to the Carmel Police Department, who say they have no reports of a crash in that area from overnight.
