No charges filed in deadly IndyGo bus crash on New Year’s Day
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An IndyGo driver involved in a deadly crash on New Year’s Day will not face any criminal charges.
The crash happened Jan. 1 at Michigan and Davidson streets.
Cindy Evans, 54, died in the crash, and a young child was taken to the hospital.
Shortly after the crash, witnesses told News 8 the bus T-boned Evans’ vehicle.
IndyGo did fire the driver.
