INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – With just a little focus and planning, you can help bring fun physical fitness to your family.
LetsMove.gov suggests setting physical activity goals the entire family can achieve together. Then schedule the activity and track fitness progress where everyone can see it, such as on the refrigerator.
ShapeUp.org has some exercise suggestions the entire family might be able to do.
- Take a pet for a walk or jog
- Fly a kite
- Rent a paddle boat at a nearby park
- Put on some music and have a dance party
- Play wiffle ball
