Girl, 17, fatally shot in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WISH) — A teenager was fatally shot earlier this week in South Bend, police said Saturday.

On Monday just after noon, officers with the South Bend Police Department responded to the 1700 block of Randolph Street on reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers found Anika Henderson, 17, with apparent gunshot wounds.

Henderson was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. She was later pronounced dead.
