Indianapolis woman sentenced for West Lafayette pharmacy robbery

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – A Indianapolis woman has been sentenced to 12 years for her role in a West Lafayette pharmacy robbery.

Ashley West, 27, pleaded guilty to several charges including conspiracy to commit robbery and possession of a narcotic drug.

In September 2015, Jared Cunningham used a note at the CVS on Sagamore Parkway to demand drugs. He then dropped off the drugs with West, Carlvion Gates and Meggan Parker who were together in a car.

They were then chased by police on Interstate 65 toward Indianapolis, before they were finally stopped near Lebanon, Indiana.

West was sentenced to seven years in prison and five years of probation.
