Onyx+East adds Carmel design studio
CARMEL, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) — An Indianapolis-based residential building developer is expanding its footprint. Onyx+East has opened a new design studio in Carmel and says it has more than doubled the workforce at its Indy headquarters in 2021.
Onyx+East now employs 43 in Indianapolis. The developer says the 3,500-square-foot design studio in Carmel was created to serve as a “creative hub” to give prospective buyers a chance to view layout options for new homes.
“I think the growth we are seeing in terms of team member numbers is a testament to Onyx+East’s dedication and continued success in the local and Florida communities,” Kelli Lawrence, chief executive officer of Onyx+East, said in a news release. “With the addition of our new Carmel design studio, we further personalize the home design process, allowing buyers to experience firsthand the many selections we offer.”
Onyx+East says it is also growing in the St. Petersburg, Florida area with a new community under construction and six more projects in the pipeline.
