Justin Timberlake announces postponement of December tour dates, including Indy stop

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indianapolis will have to wait a little longer before Justin Timberlake brings “SexyBack” to the Circle City.

That’s because the former NSYNC member announced on Instagram late Wednesday evening that he will be postponing all of his remaining December tour dates, which would include his Dec. 14 stop at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The show is now scheduled for April 2. Tickets for the December show will be honored at the rescheduled show.

In the post, Timberlake says his doctors have advised him to take the next month off in order to rest his bruised vocal cords.

Timberlake was on out on the road, touring off his latest album “The Man of the Woods.” He had previously canceled some tour dates as far back as October for the vocal injury, including a concert at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. In that case, Timberlake told his fans he would “make it up to them” with a show on his birthday, Jan. 31st.

The “Can’t Stop the Feeling” singer says he hopes to be back on stage next month.
