Purdue enrollment hits record 46,114 at West Lafayette campus

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WISH) — Purdue University’s fall enrollment reached a record high, the college said Monday.
The West Lafayette campus has enrolled 46,114 students, including more than 35,000 undergrads and 10,000 graduate students. Also, there are more than 8,000 freshmen.
The university has opened two new residence halls and a science lab building to accommodate students.
Numbers for other Purdue campuses will be released later this month.
