Wal-Mart announces hiring plans for holiday season

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The holiday season is a season when many try to squeeze in as many activities as possible in a small amount of time.

For retailers, the time around the holidays is an exceptionally busy time and many hire seasonal help in order to compensate for the additional business.

One of the those retailers looking for a few more helpful hands this season is Wal-Mart. The Betonville, Arkansas-based business announced plans to hire more than 1,500 seasonal associates in Indiana.

Jobs will pay seasonal workers at least $9 an hour.
