Man arrested after police action shooting in Lawrence
LAWRENCE, Ind. (WISH) – Police said a man pointed a gun at officers that were serving a warrant on Thursday morning.
Lawrence Police Department Officers along with the ATF were attempting to serve a warrant on 20-year-old Tristan Davis in the 5301 block of Jonathan Trace
Police said that as they went to approach Davis, he pulled a handgun from his waistband and pointed it at officers.
An ATF agent fired two shots at Davis, who then submitted to officers.
No one was injured in the shooting.
Davis faces three felony preliminary charges of carrying a handgun without a license, pointing a firearm and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.
