Quiet but cold end to the weekend

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — It was a chilly start around Indianapolis this morning. Many areas dropped into the teens.

TONIGHT:

We’ll see more cloud cover around the area tonight so temperatures will stay in the lower 20s. But some areas north of the city may see a few breaks in the clouds allowing temperatures to fall back into the teens.

TOMORROW:

Clouds will be around for the beginning of the day but then break up later in the afternoon and evening.  Temperatures will be in the middle 30s.

MONDAY:

Sunshine returns for much of Monday and Tuesday.  Temperatures slowly rise back into the upper 30s and even lower 40s by the end of the work week.

8 DAY FORECAST

Sunshine sticks around for the first part of the work week but more clouds return on Wednesday ahead of our next storm system. Right now it looks like it will stay dry for most of the day but a chance for rain moves in late Wednesday night.  On and off rain will be possible Thursday through the end of the work week.

Temperatures gradually climb into the 40s for Wednesday through the weekend.
