NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) – New York State Parks Police have told News 4 rescue crews are searching for a woman who went over the Falls Saturday evening.

They are calling the incident an “intentional entry.”

They did not release any other information about the victim, including if she is still alive.

It happened around 6 p.m. at Prospect Point.

Officials with the Niagara Falls Fire Department say Canadian authorities are helping search efforts.

Officials told WIVB a bystander took video of the incident. Authorities now have that video and are using it in their investigation.
