INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A few showers south Friday morning with most of the state under a cloudy sky. A fairly muggy start with most temperatures in the mid 60s. Most will stay dry for today with a stray shower chance in southern Indiana. I-70 and points north will stay dry and could squeeze out a few rays of sunshine with highs in the lower 80s.
An upper level low will pass just south of Indiana bringing showers and storms to the area by Saturday afternoon. Scattered showers are likely through the afternoon with highs in the upper 70s nearing 80°. Better chance of scattered showers Sunday with showers around any time during the day. Showers become widespread through the afternoon with highs running a bit cooler, in the upper 70s.
Showers will continue through Monday with highs running cooler. Highs will top out in the upper 70s. Once the showers move out, we’ll see sunshine return Tuesday with highs in the mid 70s. Showers and storms will return mid week with highs in the 70s.
