Showers Sunday, but not all day

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Another round of showers and storms moving through central Indiana this evening. There will be lots of lightning, gusty winds and brief heavy rain. Some areas could get up to an inch of additional rain. The weather pattern changes a little for Sunday. Looks like more in the way of isolated showers with quite a bit of dry time also.

Tonight – Showers and storms ending after midnight. Low 68.

Sunday – Isolated spotty showers with some dry time but humid weather also. High 80.

Monday – Partly cloudy with mostly dry weather in the morning. Showers and storms developing in the afternoon. High 81

After some morning rain, our Saturday turned out mostly dry and pleasantly cool to be outside.

By afternoon, showers and storms were moving in from the west.

The heaviest rain will be moving through southern Indiana. Because of the rain that has already fallen recently, a Flash Flood Watch is in effect for southern Indiana until 8:00 AM Sunday.

Through the evening, most of the state will be seeing on again off again showers and storms.

It will not cool off much, but the rain will be moving out overnight.

By Sunday morning, most of the showers are gone. We are left with cloudy, humid but dry conditions.

It will be a different weather set up Sunday. Mostly cloudy, warm and humid with only isolated, spotty showers expected. Lots of dry time Sunday.
