Wednesday’s business headlines

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Here’s a look at Wednesday’s business headlines.

Walgreens

Walgreens has launched Instacart same-day delivery in Illinois as a springboard to bring the service to nearly 8,000 stories over the coming weeks.

Tens of thousands of non-precription products, including over-the-counter medicines, health and wellness items, beauty and personal care, household staples and convenience items will be available for Instacart delivery.

The chain plans to roll it out to more states in the next few weeks.

Home Depot

Home Depot thinks eco-friendly power tools will be a hot trend.

It’s launching a new line up of tools, including trimmers and blowers that are cordless.

Cordless tools are considered to be more environmentally friendly.

Samsung

Samsung is offering a buy and try program for its Galaxy Z Flip 5G and Galaxy Fold 2 5G phones as a way to help customers see if one of the devices is a good fit.

You now have 100 days to try out one of the phones and decide whether you want to keep it.

Samsung says this is the first time it’s offering this kind of program for mobile devices.

St. Pete

Florida’s Saint Pete Beach takes not only the title of number one beach in the United States but is also rated fifth in the world.

Of the best 25 best beaches in the U.S., Florida and Hawaii dominate the list, with over 30% of the winners located in the Sunshine state and almost 30% in the Aloha state.

Travelers says St. Pete Beach is the most perfect place to watch the sun set over the ocean.
