Chair honors fallen officer from Southport Police Department
SOUTHPORT, Ind. (WISH) – A local police officer killed in the line of duty was honored Wednesday by a national organization.
Former Southport Police Department Lt. Aaron Allan was killed in 2017. On Monday the group Saving a Hero’s Place dedicated one of its honor chairs to the department.
The chair is inscripted with Allan’s name and badge and the words “I’ve got your back.”
