1 fatally shot at hotel on northwest side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man was fatally shot at a hotel on the city’s northwest side on Saturday, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

Police responded to reports of a person shot at the Quality Inn located in the 5000 block of Lafayette Road around 1:45 p.m. on Saturday.

Upon arrival, officers found a victim inside a hotel room with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.

The victim, later identified as Keegan Wolf, 32, was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No suspect information has been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
