3 shot at home on city’s near northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Three people were injured in a shooting on the city’s near northeast side Sunday morning.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to a home in the 2900 block of Wheeler Street just after 5 a.m. Sunday on reports of three people shot. That’s near East 29th and North Dearborn streets.

When officers arrived they found three people had been shot. Their injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, police say.

Information was not released about what led to the shooting or if a suspect has been identified.
