IEA expands technical services offerings
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) — Indianapolis-based Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives Inc. (Nasdaq: IEA) is expanding its portfolio of renewable construction services. The company has formed a Renewable Energy Services Group, which it says will serve as the next phase of its relationship with wind project owners, developers and original equipment manufacturers.
IEA says the group expands upon its technical capabilities by offering technical maintenance and repair after construction of wind energy projects. The company says the expanded offerings will help customers lower their operational costs and ensure high-quality service.
“Currently when a wind project is complete, infrastructure maintenance is often left to project developers and owners,” said Chris Hanson, executive vice president of IEA. “With the creation of our Renewable Energy Services Group, we will now have the opportunity to extend the relationship with our customers and provide comprehensive services throughout the lifespan of the project.”
The Renewable Energy Services Group will be led by IEA Senior Vice President Brand Patnode, Vice President of Business Development Paul Idziak, Vice President of Commercial Operations Franco Repetto, Vice President of Operations Keith Wharton and Director of Field Operations Forrest Hach.
IEA says, to date, it has constructed more than 2 gigawatts of wind energy throughout North America.
