IMPD seeking suspect after hotel clerk robbed at gunpoint

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department needs your help identifying a suspect in a northwest side hotel robbery.

IMPD says a man robbed a hotel clerk at gunpoint at the Quality Inn and Suites at 5011 Lafayette Road on June 30.

Police say the man jumped the counter, robbed the clerk, then fled the area with another man in a red Chevrolet Impala.

He was wearing all black clothing, a green surgical mask and red gloves during the robbery.

Tips leading to an arrest could be worth up to $1,000.
