Arrest made after K9 unit sniffs out ‘large quantity’ of marijuana

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) — An arrest was made after a K9 unit sniffed out a car carrying approximately 6.44 lbs. of marijuana. 

Police pulled over a grey Honda Civic going south on I-69 west of Waterloo around 7:15 Monday night.

The DeKalb County Deputy used his narcotics certified K9 to sniff the vehicle. The dog located the large quantity of marijuana inside the trunk. 

The driver was arrested and is facing charges of dealing marijuana.
