Man dies in shooting at American Legion post near South Bend
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. (CNN) — One man i s dead after a shooting at an American Legion post in Indiana.
Officials were called to post 284, west of South Bend city limits just after 11:30 p.m. Friday.
Upon arrival, police found one man shot inside the bar. Officials attempted CPR, but were not successful.
Witnesses inside the bar were able to subdue the suspected shooter until police arrived. The suspect was later taken into custody.
The shooting remains under investigation.
