INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Breweries from across Indiana were at the state fairgrounds Saturday as part of this year’s Winterfest.

Hundreds lined up inside the West Pavilion to grab a cold one and discover new brews at the event organized by Drink Indiana.

More than 75 businesses were there.

Drink Indiana says many breweries take part not only to get their name out but also to help charities.

“One of the things we as a brewing community believe in is giving back to the community and our brewers do a lot on an individual basis, but we also carry that over into our guild,” said Athena School with Drink Indiana.

This was the 12th year for Winterfest. Drink Indiana’s next festival is the Bloomington Craft Beer Festival on April 11.
