Nerd Street Gamers partners with Butler University to host virtual esports summer camp

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Young gamers in Indianapolis have a cool opportunity to take their skills to the next level.

Butler University is hosting a summer camp dedicated to esports and it’s about more than just playing video games.

Butler is partnering with Nerd Street Gamers to host four weeks of camps. The first starts June 29 for Fortnite.

There’s also camps for Rocket League, Overwatch and League of Legends. Campers will learn from coaches who play competitively, including Butler esports gamers.

The camps are $200 per camper and they run daily from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you are interested in registering for the camps, click here.
