Medical condition precipitates eight-car crash
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – An eight-car crash closed Crescent Avenue at Coliseum Boulevard in Fort Wayne for nearly two hours on Monday morning, according to WISH-TV sister station WANE News.
According to the Fort Wayne Police Department, a driver with a medical condition crashed into seven other cars at the intersection of Crescent Avenue and Coliseum Boulevard around 8 a.m.
One person was taken to the hospital in serious condition but no other injuries were reported. Officers on the scene could not verify whether the injured person was the one who had the medical condition. Crescent at Coliseum was closed for nearly 2 hours following the crash.
