PORTER COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – A possible case of coronavirus is under investigation in northern Indiana.

According to the Porter County Health Department, someone, who was traveling through the northern Indiana county, has been identified as being potentially infected with the coronavirus.

It is currently unclear where this person was traveling from or where they were headed.

The person in question has been placed in isolation out of an abundance of caution.

The CDC is conducting laboratory tests to see if it is in fact the potentially deadly virus.

The Porter County Health Department says it is working with the Indiana State Health Department and the CDC and that all the protocols have been implemented.
