Rainy start to the weekend
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Keep the umbrella nearby for the first part of the weekend.
A few showers will be possible Friday evening. Temperatures will stay relatively mild.
Rain will develop overnight and continue into Saturday. The rain may be moderate to heavy at times.
Temperatures will start in the lower 50s for the first part of the day but fall into the 40s for the afternoon.
Rain will continue on and off during the day.
By Saturday evening, colder air will mix into the area and the rain will briefly change over to a little light snow. Little to no accumulation is expected.
It’s going to be cold and breezy Saturday night with lows falling into the 20s.
On Sunday, look for full sunshine, but it’s going to be chilly. Highs will be running from 10-15 degrees below normal. Many locations will stay in the lower 40s.
Quiet weather will continue for the beginning of the workweek. Look for lots of sunshine Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs will start in the 50s but climb into the 60s for the middle and end of the week. Most of the week looks dry, but rain will head this way Thursday and Friday.
