INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The warmest air of the year arrives this weekend.
Storm chances have come to an end, expect mainly dry conditions overnight as temperatures fall to the 60s
The start of the weekend looks great, and Saturday we’ll see the warmest day of the season. Look for mostly sunny skies with highs approaching the middle and upper 80s.
A storm system heads this way for Sunday, bringing a chance for showers and thunderstorms. Some of the thunderstorms may be on the stronger side. According to the Storm Prediction Center, much of central Indiana will be under a slight risk, the main being damaging winds. Stay weather aware on Sunday.
Look for highs in the upper 70s on Sunday.
Cooler air moves back into the area Monday, with highs in the upper 60s, close to 70.
We’ll be dry with some sunshine to start the workweek. Several chances for storms will be possible during the rest of the workweek with highs in the 80s.
