Warm and muggy through the weekend
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The warm and muggy trend will continue as we head into the weekend.
Thursday Night:
Skies will become mostly cloudy as temperatures will fall into the mid 60s overnight.
Friday:
Skies will be mostly cloudy for part of the day. We will see some sunshine peek through in the afternoon with temperatures topping out in the low 80s.
If you have plans to check out the Indiana Fever take on the Dallas Wings Friday at 7 p.m. you’ll enjoy a pleasant night. Skies will become mostly cloudy Friday night as temperatures hold steady in the upper 70s. Rain chances will increase throughout the evening for areas mainly south of interstate 70.
Weekend:
You can prepare for a warm and muggy weekend with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Severe storms are not expected at this time. Temperatures will warm to the low 80s on Saturday and then again on Sunday.
8-day forecast:
Scattered showers and storms will linger into Monday morning. Showers and storms will diminish Monday afternoon as temperatures warm to the upper 70s. Tuesday will be the best weather day of the week. You can enjoy plenty of sunshine with pleasant afternoon temperatures Tuesday. Showers will return to the forecast Wednesday.
