Spotty shower possible Friday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A mild start to Friday morning with temperatures in the lower 70s with a mostly cloudy sky. There could be a stray shower chance Friday afternoon with highs in the mid-80s and high humidity. Friday night shower chances diminish with lows in the upper 60s.

This weekend looks warm and humid with highs during the day Saturday in the mid-80s. There could be an isolated storm during the afternoon. There is a marginal risk of strong to a severe storm in northwest Indiana with damaging winds as the main threat. On Sunday a cold front will slide through the state with a few showers and storms Sunday morning. Highs will cool to the lower 80s.

Behind the cold front, cooler air will spread in across most of the upper mid west and the Ohio Valley. Highs will top out in the mid to upper 70 through midweek with lots of sunshine and low humidity. The return of the 80s and maybe a few showers by the end of the week.
