A beautiful day
A cold front moved through the state last night producing scattered storms. A few areas received between .50″ and 1″ of rain. Today will be mostly sunny, cooler and less humid. Highs will be in the middle 80s.
High pressure will dominate producing sunshine and dry weather through Saturday. It will become hot and humid again by Friday and the weekend. Saturday should be dry with highs in the lower 90s. A good chance for scattered storms will return by Sunday afternoon.
The extended outlook keeps a good threat for showers and storms into Monday and Tuesday of next week. A cold front will bring in cooler temperatures for the middle of the week.
