Rain and humidity return

(WISH) — A comfortable start to the morning with temperatures in the lower-to-mid 60s with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs will warm to the lower-to-mid 80s this afternoon with partly-to-mostly cloudy skies. Tonight lows will hold in the upper 60s.

A cold front will approach the state sparking up showers and storms through the afternoon. Highs will warm to the lower 80s with increasing humidity. There is a marginal risk for a stronger to severe storm during the afternoon with the main threat being damaging winds. Wednesday and Thursday looks unsettled as well with opportunities for showers and storms with highs holding in the low to mid 80s.

By the end of the week humidity will drop off and highs will cool to the mid 70s with lots of sunshine! The cool trend looks to continue through the weekend with highs Saturday and Sunday in the mid-to-upper 70s. By next Monday, we’ll increase shower chance with highs cooling to the lower 70s.
