Showers arriving Sunday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We had a beautiful day with lots of sunshine and highs in the lower 50s. Clouds will increase later tonight with temperatures falling into the 30s overnight. 

There’s a slight chance we may see a scattered shower after midnight but the best chance of showers will be during the day tomorrow. 

Look for mostly cloudy skies Sunday with scattered showers. Highs will be in the lower 50s. 

Another batch of rain moves into the area after 11pm Sunday. This round may bring moderate to heavy rain to some spots with even a few rumbles of thunder possible. 

Rainfall amounts will be between a half inch and three quarters of an inch through Monday morning. 

Rain will linger early Monday morning. Showers exit the area around lunchtime and the clouds begin to clear. 

Temperautres fall a little below normal Monday and Tuesday. By Thursday and Friday temperatures climb into the lower 60s. Much of the week will be quiet with showers and even a few thunderstorms possible on Friday.
