Summer heat continues this week

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Well above average temperatures hang around for the next several days.

Tonight:

Remnants of Florence continue to pull away from the Midwest, so any cloud cover that we had from the day, should erode by later this evening.

Temperatures will remain warm, and slightly higher humidity, too.  Lows dip to the upper 60s.

Tuesday:

Relatively quiet day.  A boundary sliding through could spark a rogue shower or storm – so not a guaranteed dry day for everyone, but rain chances are quite low, so most should be in good shape.

Highs hit the middle 80s

Wednesday:

Previously mentioned front for Tuesday will pass through again on Wednesday.  Like Tuesday, a very small chance for an isolated shower or storm, otherwise we’re partly cloudy and hot.  Highs top out in the upper 80s to around 90°

8-day forecast:

We’ll likely make another run at 90° temps on Thursday, before the pattern changes starting Friday.  A cold front pushing through for the end of the week, and hanging around for the weekend, will likely bring rain to the area Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Our stretch of hot temps will come to and end starting this weekend, as highs fall back to the middle 70s for the first weekend of the Fall season.
