Lanes from I-465 NB to I-74 WB shut down after semi rolls

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Two lanes of the NB I-465 to WB I-74 ramp are shut down after a semi rolled over early Friday morning.

The semi truck driver lost control on the ramp and rolled the semi on its side, striking the bridge wall.

The driver struck the concrete wall hard enough to leave a crack.

Police say they believe speed was a factor when the semi rolled.

The driver was taken to the hospital as a precaution, he is believed to be doing alright.

Indiana State Police are still investigating the crash.

It is unclear when the ramp will reopen.
